For dozens of years I have been working in IT. I believe in the cross - functionality of tester. Automate, share experiences and do not stop learning.
Topic: "Test documentation revisited. Live test documentation in the world of test automation"
In the days of the old waterfall, documentation was vital and its creation and support took a lot of time and resources. And then there appeared Agile, DevOps and so on. Automation came into the world of testing and the test documentation remained to lie dead. In the report, I will try to propose ways of making the test documentation to be alive - so that it will be always up-to-date, do not take much time for development and support and go with automation of tests.
We will talk about the following: - Will the BDD approach help avoid writing test cases?
- Where is the "point of truth": in the auto test or test case described in TCMS? How to integrate the process of creating test cases and autotests?
- Maybe it's better to go "from the end"? Can reports act as actual test documentation?
